Heartland Steaks takes great care to make sure your order is shipped properly and that it arrives at its destination in exemplary condition. All of our products are cut fresh and individually vacuum-packed. Each piece is then frozen to maintain the natural juices and flavor of the meat. We package our product in an attractive gift box, which is packed with dry ice into a re-usable polystyrene container. We make sure your order is shipped with enough dry ice to reach its destination safely and intact. As a final measure of safety, we place the polystyrene container into a heavy-duty corrugated shipping container. This container is tastefully adorned with our logo, and provides an extra level of protection to make sure that your order reaches its destination appropriately.
Standard delivery charges are based upon delivery to addresses within the continental United States. Please view the map to see the number of shipping days (via UPS Ground) from our facilities in Chicago. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are available for an additional charge, as are overnight and expedited delivery options. Please contact our customer service department for more information. Please note that expedited delivery orders placed after 8:00 A.M. (CST) on Wednesday will ship the following week. Overnight orders will arrive the afternoon of the next business day. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes.
Shipping Charges
Heartland Steaks uses UPS for all order shipments. We offer 3 levels of shipping service: standard ground, expedited, and overnight. Shipping charges for those levels of service are as follows:

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require Expedited or Overnight service. Add an additional $29.99 to the ground and expedited/overnight charges above.
Important Information:
We are unable to offer delivery of our products on the weekend, or on Mondays.
Your order will be delivered and released by a UPS driver. All orders are shipped driver release - no signature required. This means that the package will be left at the delivery address without obtaining a signature. Please make arrangements to receive your package.
If you are shipping our product as a gift, please double-check the delivery addresse(s), and notify the recipient that a perishable food gift is being shipped to them. Damage due to incomplete or incorrect addresses voids our guarantee. |
