- 2 Heartland Steaks Bone in Rib Eye Steaks (16oz)
- 4 cloves garlic chopped
- 6 fresh thyme sprigs; crushed
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
In a large dish or bowl, combine the garlic, thyme sprigs and about half a cup of olive oil. This will be the marinade for the steak. Put each steak in the marinade and turn a couple of times to make sure they're well coated. Cover and place in the refrigerator for an hour, or longer if you like.
Heat your grill to high heat. If you're cooking inside, use a grill pan or skillet. Remove the steaks from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
Place steaks on the grill. Cook until desired doneness. Let rest for about 5 minutes before eating.
