Teriyaki & Cranberry Steak Sauce

Certified Angus Beef ® Porterhouse Steak
Serve this delicious teriyaki steak sauce recipe for your Heartland Certified Angus Beef® as a tasty substitute for bottled steak sauces.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup white onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup good white wine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup, Teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. In a medium sized saucepan, mix in all ingredients except for the cranberries. Cook over a medium-high heat.
  2. Stir mixture regularly until it boils; then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cranberries and stir over low heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Makes about 1 cup of sauce
