Rosemary Grilled Veal Chop Recipe - Heartland Steaks

  • 4 8-ounce Heartland Steaks veal rib chops
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/8 cup red wine, dry
  • 1 large pressed garlic clove
  • 3/4 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Directions

  1. Whisk pepper, salt, oil, wine, and chopped rosemary large glass baking dish.
  2. Add veal chops to dish marinate, making sure to coat each side.
  3. Refrigerate for 4 hours, or let stand at room temperature for 1 hour, turning veal chops occasionally.
  4. Prepare barbecue heating to medium-high.
  5. Remove veal from marinade, letting excess drip off.
  6. Season both sides of veal with salt and pepper.
  7. Lightly oil grill grate.
  8. Grill veal to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  9. Remove from grill and transfer to platter.
  10. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve.

Makes 4 servings.
