Moist and made from the heart Mustard Steak

Ingredients

  • One or two of our delicious sirloin steaks
  • Fresh ground pepper (preferably black) and salt
  • A heavier or even heavy cream
  • Spicy or regular Dijon mustard
  • Cognac or substitute with a larger quantity of whiskey
  • Butter or Margarine
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Fresh and thoroughly chopped shallots

Directions

  1. Use our delicious sirloin steaks and cover them front to back with pepper and salt.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into a large and heavy skillet, and cook the vegetable oil on the highest heat until it is almost smoking and very hot.
  3. Put steaks into skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, and make sure to turn them during this time period.
  4. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes or until your satisfaction is met.
  5. Take the steaks out of the skillet, and place them on a platter or dish, and keep the steaks warm
  6. Properly remove the fat from the skillet, and then add 2 tablespoons of the fresh and thoroughly chopped shallots, and also add 2 tablespoons of either butter or margarine
  7. Add the liquor of your choice either Cognac or Whiskey in the amount of either one or two cups.
  8. Add cream and make sure you bring it to a boil, and then carefully stir for 3 to five minutes.
  9. Take away from the intensity of the heat, and then carefully stir in the mustard, and then add pepper and salt for a full and flavor-filled taste
  10. Put and cover over steaks and then serve
