Marinara Beef and Pasta Stew

  • 1-1/2 lbs. Certified Angus Beef® Top Sirloin Steak, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 (14-1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
  • 1 (15 oz.) container marinara sauce
  • 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, snapped into 1-inch pieces (about 2 cups)
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 (9 oz.) container fresh low-fat cheese ravioli

Directions

  1. In heavy pan or Dutch oven, brown steak and onions in oil, about 5-10 minutes, or until onions are lightly browned.
  2. Add broth, marinara sauce and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add beans and zucchini. Return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer five minutes.
  4. Add ravioli, bring back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer an additional 8-10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
