Grilled Sirloin Steak with Tomato Mushroom Sauce and Homestyle S

Tomato Mushroom Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 ounces grilled sirloin steak
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cup raw spinach
  • 3 red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup demi-glace
  • 3 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoon chopped shallots
  • 1 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 8 sun gold tomatoes, halved (substitute: any yellow cherry tomato)
  • 8 sweet tomatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoon whole butter
  • 4 Idaho potatoes

A1 Ranch Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons pommery mustard
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch Pepper
  • 1/4 cup A1 steak sauce

Instructions

Tomato Mushroom Sauce

  1. Combine garlic and shallots in olive oil and sauté until tender, about 4 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms, demi-glace, and corn and simmer.
  3. Reduce by 1/4
  4. Stir in tomatoes, butter, salt, and pepper
  5. Remove from heat.

Homestyle Steak Fries

  1. Place whole potatoes in a large pot filled with salted water.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, drain, and allow to cool for at least 20 minutes.
  5. Quarter the potatoes and deep fry.
  6. When crispy, remove from deep fryer and season lightly with salt and pepper.

A-1 Ranch Dressing

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Serve.

To assemble dish

  1. Place grilled steak in the center of the dish.
  2. Spoon vegetables and sauce over the steak.
  3. Top with spinach and onion and drizzle with A1 dressing.
  4. Serve with Homestyle Steak Fries
