Grilled Lobster Tail Recipe - Heartland Steaks

Ingredients

Directions:

  • Melt 1/2 stick of butter in with 1 cup milk. Boil the lobster tails for 3-5 minutes.
  • Shuck shells and baste lobster tails with butter and milk combination.
  • Put over 350 degree coals and baste frequently to keep the lobster meat from drying out.
  • Feel meat with fingers - when firm take off the heat.
  • Cut lemon in quarters and squeeze over each tail.

Clarified Butter
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat, without stirring, until melted and solids separate from fat (10 to 15 minutes).

Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. Skim off foam. Slowly pour off clear yellow liquid, leaving behind the residue of milk solids that has settled to the bottom of the pan. Makes 3/4 cup clarified butter
