Cheesy Horseradish Steak Burgers

Ingredients

  • Four, 4 oz. Angus Beef steak burgers
  • 3 or 4 T. bottled white horseradish
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • Coarse salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil to use on grill grates
  • 4 slices of good sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 good hamburger buns (you can also use English muffins)
  • Any burger toppings you want

Directions

  1. Pre-heat your grill to medium-high.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, combine the horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Rub mixture and lightly knead into steak burger patties. Make an indentation in the middle of each patty.
  4. To oil the grill, fold a paper towel and coat it with the vegetable oil. Grab the paper towel with tongs and rub over your grill grates.
  5. Grill burgers 4-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Add the cheese with about 3 or 4 minutes to go.
  6. Serve with the toppings of your choice.
