Boneless Honey Barbeque Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 6 ounce boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons pure honey

Directions

Grill chops as desired for 4 minutes or until brown. Combine ketchup, lemon rind, lemon juice, brown sugar, and honey. Mix ingredients thoroughly until creamy. Stir in onion and green pepper. In a single layer, place chops in deep baking pan. Spread mixture evenly over chops and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until chops are tender and juicy. Alternative method for grilling: Instead of baking, try the outdoors method! Place browned chops in grilling pan or foil. Pour mixture over chops. If using foil, secure the foil making sure to not let any of the mixture escape. Grill for 10-15 minutes or until tender and juicy.
