Beeriyaki Skirt Steak from Heartland Steaks

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds skirt steak
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 red bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 2 green bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 8 oz. can of beer
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 4 sweet onions, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • Hawaiian sweet rolls

Instructions

  1. In a large zip-loc bag, combine beer, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and black pepper.
  2. Place skirt steak in bag and remove air
  3. Shake bag to mix ingredients
  4. In a separate large zip-loc bag, add red pepper, green pepper, onion, oil, and vinegar, then push out air and seal.
  5. Shake bag to mix ingredients and set aside.
  6. Preheat grill to medium high heat.
  7. Remove from zip-loc bag and grill vegetables to desired tenderness, approximately 12-14 minutes.
  8. Remove from grill and set aside.
  9. Grill steak for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until desired doneness.
  10. Remove from grill and set aside for 5 minutes
  11. Slice steak and serve meat and vegetables on Hawaiian sweet rolls.
