Balsamic Mustard Steak Sauce

Serve this delicious homemade tomato basil steak sauce recipe for your Heartland Certified Angus Beef® as a great substitute for bottled steak sauces.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Directions
  1. Cook the meat of your choice in a pan.
  2. With the meat drippings in the skillet, add the balsamic vinegar and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil until it thickens to a syrupy texture, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove skillet from heat and whisk in the Dijon mustard and any other reserved juice that there may be.
  5. Serve immediately with the steak of your choice.
