At Heartland Steaks, quality is priority #1. Each steak is specially evaluated and selected to become Certified Angus Beef ® or USDA Choice. Our Forest Park headquarters are maintained under strict HACCP guidelines and is inspected on a daily basis by the USDA. Each employee has gone through a rigorous training and certification process before delivering our quality steaks, poultry, veal and lamb.
Every package is vacuum-sealed and individually checked by our inspectors for any flaws before ever leaving our warehouse. Every time you purchase steaks, chicken, veal or lamb from www.heartlandsteaks.com your order is handled by one of our certified employees. When your order is placed, it immediately goes to our warehouse where your meats are hand selected for shipping.
Your order from Heartland Steaks is then placed into coolers filled with enough dry ice to keep your purchase frozen from the time it leaves until it reaches your door. The coolers are then placed in corrugated boxes that have withstood Edge Crush Testing. The Edge Crush Tests ensure that your box will withstand the shipping process, with no damage to the products inside.

Once your Heartland Steaks products are delivered, you can either store them in your freezer and enjoy them later, or defrost your Heartland Steaks for dinner that evening. Although each piece of dry ice is cut and measured to last as long as your scheduled delivery, sometimes there may be some left in your cooler. For your safety, Heartland Steaks asks that you do not handle the dry ice with your bare hands. If your order arrives with dry ice remaining, please use oven mitts or heavy gloves to dispose of the ice. You may also leave the dry ice in the container and allow it to naturally dissipate.
