Your package arrives

Every Heartland Steaks order is given to our warehouse as soon as it is placed for the earliest shipment available. Each Heartland Steak is individually hand-cut, aged, and frozen under strict USDA guidelines and then selected for your order. Our Steaks, Poultry, Veal, Lamb, and Cold Water Lobster Tails are individually weighed to a tenth of an ounce to ensure you get the perfect cut every time.

Each steak is specially evaluated and selected to become Certified Angus Beef ® or USDA Choice. Our Forest Park headquarters are maintained under strict HACCP guidelines and is inspected on a daily basis by the USDA. Each employee has gone through a rigorous training and certification process before delivering our quality steaks, poultry, veal and lamb.

Heartland Steaks takes great care to make sure your order is shipped properly and that it arrives at its destination in exemplary condition. All of our products are cut fresh and individually vacuum-packed. Each piece is then frozen to maintain the natural juices and flavor of the meat. We package our product in an attractive gift box, which is packed with dry ice into a re-usable polystyrene container. We make sure your order is shipped with enough dry ice to reach its destination safely and intact. As a final measure of safety, we place the polystyrene container into a heavy-duty corrugated shipping container. This container is tastefully adorned with our logo, and provides an extra level of protection to make sure that your order reaches its destination appropriately.

Standard delivery charges are based upon delivery to addresses within the continental United States. Please view the map to see the number of shipping days (via UPS Ground) from our facilities in Forest Park. Shipments overnight and expedited delivery options are available as well. Please contact our customer service department for more information. Please note that expedited delivery orders placed after 8:00 A.M. (CST) on Wednesday will ship the following week. Overnight orders will arrive the afternoon of the next business day. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to P.O. boxes.

Shipping example

If you order over the weekend or by 8am CST on Monday and the recipients address falls in the 1 transit day area on the map, your order will ship on Monday and be delivered on Tuesday. The day the products ship is NOT counted as a transit day. In another example: An order placed Tuesday by 8am will go out that day(Tuesday) and if its a 2 day in transit trip the package will arrive Thursday as Wednesday and Thursday are the 2 transit days.

If you are shipping our product as a gift, please double-check the delivery addresse(s), and notify the recipient that a perishable food gift is being shipped to them. Damage due to incomplete or incorrect addresses voids our guarantee.

If your order arrives with dry ice remaining, please use oven mitts or heavy gloves to handle the ice. Make sure that any residual ice is allowed to naturally dissipate in an open air environment. Do not keep any residual ice indoors or in a similar enclosed area
