- Fresh and large red onions (4)
- Delicious deep fried okra
- Butter (1/2 cup and make sure it is clarified)

- Thoroughly apply butter to both sides of the onion slices
- Put onion under broiler and let them cook until they are golden, while adding a coating of additional butter
- Turn the onions on both sides to properly cook
- When finished onions should be crisp, golden-like, but still rather tender
- Take the steaks and put them over lump charcoal (No substitutions, it must be charcoal)
- Lightly put a barbecue sauce of your choice on the onions
- After tossing tomatoes in the vinaigrette, place on top of the onions
- Serve with deep fried okra and delicious grilled steaks
