~Jessica Jones, Greensboro, NC
Ingredients
- Cloves of fresh minced garlic (4)
- Fresh shrimp (2)
- Our delicious rib-eye steak (1)
- Rum of your choice
- Pepper and Salt
- Fresh spinach (1lb)
- Fresh nutmeg
- (You may also add a knob of butter, but that is optional)
Directions
- Begin by adding pepper and salt to the steak
- Using a fork thoroughly stab the steak with force
- Pour a minimum of four caps of rum over steaks (Use as much rum or as little as you'd like)
- Turn on grill or you can use a lightly oiled frying pan
- When ready place steak into either grill or frying pan and let them be for at least 4 minutes
- While steak is cooking saute only half of the garlic in a pan, and then add the shrimp when you start to notice the smell of the garlic
- If it's used add the knob of butter and remove the shrimp as soon as the bubbling stops
- Then flip the steak and in the same pan warm up the olive oil and add the garlic
- After garlic smell returns add the salt and spinach
- Then over the spinach grate fresh nutmeg
- Then put spinach on a plate and add the steak and shrimp
