Deliciously Stuffed Porterhouse Steaks
"Everyone will love this recipe, it's delicious!"

Ingredients
- 4 Porterhouse steaks
- 1, 8oz package of fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 2 shallots, peeled and sliced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup good red wine
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 T. unsalted butter
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Saute the mushrooms, shallots, and garlic until shallot are tender; about 5 minutes.
- Add the wine and Worcestershire sauce and cook until all liquid is gone and mushrooms start to brown.
- Cut a deep slit in the steak and fill with the mushroom mixture.
- Cook steaks over moderate heat on grill, to desired doneness, flipping once.
Serves 6-8 |
