The Certified Angus Beef ® brand name was created to strengthen the relationships between the American Angus Association, beef producers, packers and distributors. Their goal was to not only provide assurances of beef quality and flavor for consumers, but also to produce a fairly uniformed product. Working together, the American Angus Association and its affiliates have devised a series of stipulations beef must meet to qualify as Certified Angus Beef ®. The stipulations are above and beyond those set forth by the USDA for Prime Beef. By checking every piece of beef thoroughly before certification, you can rest assured your Certified Angus Beef ® will be tender, juicy and delicious. |
